It's been a while since our last post. Just know we've got some good stuff coming up in the future that we've been working on...but that's for us to know and you to find out...keep checking back for more updates☺️
More Models
Low polly modeling is a great way to get your feet wet. Here are some more models I did. I'm using Blender's Cycles as my render tool.
Learning Blender
So Blender is one of my new favorite programs. It's a 3d software that rivals 3ds Max...and it's free Yeah. It does take a bit to get used to as it's very shortcut driven but very powerful. This is a low polly fence I did with more models on the way.

6. Final shading of the hood and last minute adjustments and I think this is good. Now on to the next painting!
5. Started blocking in the hood also Made a few adjustments to the skin color and made more adjustments to the hair.
4. so I started the detail of the hair shouldn't be long now till it's done.
I'll continue to post my progress as I get this done.If you're looking for a good painting tutorial check out this site . This is what I've started going through and where I got some tips to start this painting.
-Karissa
3. I got the skin basically the way I wanted it. I still need to tweak a few things later to make the hair look like it's part of the scalp but it's good for now.

2. Below you can see what I've done so far. I chose my sample colors to block in the color quickly. You can see that on the hair and left side of the face. On the right side of the face and eyes you can see where I've gone in and started blending and making everything pretty.
I've been practicing my digital painting skills so I decided to blog about my progress.
1. To the left you have the original artwork that was sketched by Brandon. So I scanned that in and started blocking in color.
Keeping up with my painting skills
Hey all, I'll be posting more of these but I've been trying to paint a 35 minute painting every night just to keep my skills. It's fun and as an artist something I need to keep up on. This was last night's drawing. Thanks for checking it out.

This is the first game I've made using Construct2. I followed a tutorial since I'm just learning. It's a great program if you're an artist like me. You use the arrow keys to move and the mouse to aim and left click to shoot. Hope you enjoy.
Platformer
Still learning Construct2 and am loving it so far. I made a platformer also with the help of a tutorial. I had fun making it and hope you enjoy.
